National Women's Rugby Manager

Job Title: National Women's Rugby Manager
Contractual Status: Fixed Term Contract - 3 years, Full-Time

The Welsh Rugby Union Group are looking to recruit a National Women's Rugby Manager to lead the strategic development of female rugby in Wales and manage the ongoing execution of the strategy to drive growth in participation.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador, role model and inspiration to transform women's and girl's rugby in Wales.

Some of the key responsibilities within this role will be to effectively implement and manage the strategic plan for women's and girls rugby participation across Wales and the wider game, to innovate in order to build a communications and engagement plan to raise the profile of Women and girls Rugby internally and externally across all stake holders and the wider population promoting the benefits and commitment to the game and Provide advice, support and bring challenge to the Head of Participation and the management team of the Participation Department.

To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of five years' management experience in a leading development role within a major sporting organisation, National Governing body or blue chip organisation. Educated to a degree level is desirable and previous experience of formulating and executing strategy is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the range of skills and abilities essential to this role including being an accomplished networker, presenter and role model, excellent written and verbal communication skills and negational skills.
